· 2011 Graduate from Center for Massage and Natural Health
600 hour program. Asheville, North Carolina
· 2012 Positional Release Therapy
PRT is an effective manual approach based on the work of Osteopath Dr. Lawrence Jones from the 1950’s. He called it Strain/Counterstrain, and it is effective in relieving pain and tissue dysfunction. It can be practiced clothed or unclothed, and is very useful as another modality to release Trigger Points.

Esalen teaches quality of touch with sensitivity and respect. Giver holds presence, intention and mindfulness. Receiver is in tune to their awareness in 'letting go' and trusting the therapist when they are moving and arm, head or leg by not assisting the movement. Once trust and comfort is established, an intuitive connection between Client and Therapist can be achieved, enhancing effects of the therapeutic work.

· 2017 Mastering Myofasical Release
Over time, for reasons of physical and emotional trauma, habit patterns, disease, and the desiccation of tissue that can accompany the aging process, fascial tissue can get hard, rigid, and inelastic. In short, fascial tissue will change from a lubricant to an adhesive.
Myofascial Release uses an indirect approach to melt bound tissue. Unlike muscles which respond quickly to stretch or manipulation, the connective tissue requires 5-7 minutes of gentle, sustained pressure in order to release. Within this course I learned a great technique for treating Plantar Fasciitis.
· 2017 Massage Cupping
(including cupping for the release of adhesions, cautions and contraindications for cupping)
Silicone cups are used on adhesion and trigger points to release tension. The sensation the client feels is more of a pull to the tissue/skin than a push of direct pressure. Cups can be mobilized, used stationary with active or passive movement by the client. This is a great alternative for anyone that may not like firm pressure.
