I encourage a 12 hour notice of an appointment cancellation. I charge 50% of session price if it is not met. There may be someone else that can take that opening and knowing ahead of time will greatly help me accommodate them in your absence.
If you have a Cold or Flu-like symptoms (including one of the following: fever, cough, breathing difficulty, chills, sore throat or sneezing) please cancel or reschedule and fee will be waived. If you are NOT 100% symptom free, a massage could result in an relapse.

Yes. It is important to answer the questions I may ask you before you begin your massage session. Please inform me of any health problems or medications you are taking. If you are under a doctor’s care, it is strongly advised that you receive a written recommendation for massage or bodywork prior to any session.

I do not file insurance for massage a this time. I DO ACCEPT HSA (Health Savings Account) & FSA (Flex Spending Account) debit cards for session payments. You may need to check with your provider if massage is covered and if a doctor prescription is necessary.
Virginia law requires a massage therapists to use a sheet or blanket to cover the body when clothing is removed. You will be properly draped at all times to keep you warm and comfortable. Only the area being worked on will be exposed. It is inappropriate to ask the massage therapist not to use draping.
If a client acts or says something inappropriate that is sexual in nature, the Massage Therapist reserves the right to end session and collect full payment. Also, some cases may result in contacting the police.
